This includes the insurance company name, policy number, driver’s name, and contact information. Also, note the make, model, and license plate number of each vehicle.
  4. Take Photos: Take clear photos of all vehicles involved in the incident from multiple angles. Ensure you capture any visible damage, the positions of the vehicles, and any relevant surroundings or landmarks.
  5. Inform RideShare Carz: Once the incident or accident has been cleared, call our office to report the event. You can reach us at 972-781-2277. You must report the accident to our office within 24 hours.

  6. Report to Rideshare/Delivery Apps: If you were working for any rideshare or delivery apps, you will need to report the accident to that company and provide RideShare Carz with the claim number.

By following these steps, we can ensure a smooth and efficient handling of the incident or accident. Vehicle replacement is on a case-by-case basis.

How to Maximize your EV Charge

Based on our customers’ reports, we have determined that the average rideshare driver will need to charge once for every 8-hour shift or twice for a 12-hour shift. Here is a quick list on how you can maximize the range per charge on your EV:

  • City Driving vs. Highway Driving: City driving is better than highway driving for energy saving. The vehicle recovers energy every time you use the brake due to regenerative braking.
  • Limit Quick Accelerations: Rapid acceleration requires a large burst of energy, which reduces your driving range over time.
  • Extreme Outdoor Temperatures: Extreme cold and heat consume a lot of energy to maintain the battery at optimal temperatures. When possible, park your vehicle in a shaded or covered area.
  • Heating and Air Conditioning: Climate control is the second largest battery drain after driving. Once you reach a comfortable temperature, reduce the heat or AC to save energy.
  • Be Mindful of Energy Use: Every electronic device in the car, from the touchscreen to USB chargers, uses battery power. Unplug cables and electronics when not in use to conserve energy.
